CHIEF POWERBOATS 42 WINS CTC B Class

After weather caused the course for this years Cowes Torquay Cowes to be shortened , the field took a beating in what has been possibly the worst conditions the famous race has seen. Warpath the 2013 42 B Class Chief Powerboat powered by twin 725 Ilmors with Arneson drives, owned by Ole Finolt came out victorious in B Class and third overall , pressing the remaining A class boats all the way to the finish.

points and overall speed for the coveted Harmsworth Trophy also went to the Warpath Team. An amazing year in racing. Congrats to the entire TEAM

  • Bronze bushings at all pivot points
  • Linear actuators used have a built in limit switch that shuts the unit off at the extense of travel ( you have heard bolsters make that awful noise at the end of the throw??) This eliminates the noise and premature failure of the unit
  • The bell crank used on the pivot portion of the seat allows for a full lower cushion, no more actuator in the small of your back. 
  • The geometry used in the lower cushion frame allows for full travel..ALL THE WAY BACK for max standing position.
